The February meeting for the Coating Society of the Houston Area will take place on 02/07/2019 at the Houston Area Safety Council.

Board Meeting – 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Social – 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Ted Valoria

Vice President – North America

Sponge-Jet, Inc.

With 34-years of experience in surface preparation and high-performance coatings, and the last 15 years of it serving as Vice President of Sponge Jet Inc, Ted Valoria knows a thing or two about coatings. He has conducted over 300 educational seminars on the life extension of concrete and metal surfaces, and has direct involvement with NAVSEA, Canadian Department of Defense, NASA, Association of Preservation Technologies International and various Architectural and Engineering firms in the selection of surface preparation methods for coatings removal. He also has 9-years of experience with Containment Systems for surface preparation, lead abatement and coating applications.

His presentation topic for the Feb 7th meeting will be:
