Presenter : Carl Reed

Presentation will be: “Reblasting a Previously Prepared Steel Substrate: The Topographical and Performance Effects” 

Bio: Carl Reed is a Technical Coatings Expert with GPI Laboratories, Inc. specializing in laboratory evaluation with over 40 years of experience in the protective coatings industry. Prior to joining GPI Laboratories, he spent almost 38 years with a major protective coatings manufacturer serving in all phases of technical area including research, formulation, development, quality management, quality control, customer technical support, and product application and testing.  He has a BA in chemistry from North Dakota State University.  He is a member of SSPC, NACE International and ASTM and serves on several committees and task groups within these organizations and has authored or co-authored several papers with NACE and SSPC.
